Halloween 2016

My little peanut celebrated her first Halloween as a lil pumpkin.  🙂  It’s hard to believe that Joanna is finally at an age where she can enjoy the holidays…well, not fully enjoy I guess, but be able to smile her way through it.  The week of October 31st was a big one for us – not only did we get to go trick-or-treating with our nieces and Joanna, but we witnessed the Chicago Cubs become World Series Champions!!  How amazing was that?!  We are die-hard Cubs fans and so extremely happy they made it all the way.  The night they took game 7 was so stressful!  I was so stressed I binged on leftover Halloween candy as the innings passed, the runs came in and the rain delay happened.  My husband and I are so incredibly happy they came in 1st this year!

Don’t you just love Joanna’s little socks in the pic above?  Her ‘I love Daddy’ socks melt my heart.  Well actually she melts my heart. 🙂 I can’t wait to experience Thanksgiving and Christmas through her eyes.  It will truly be amazing!

We took a bunch of pictures before trick-or-treating on Halloween in the Lincoln Square neighborhood here in Chicago. It was the perfect Fall day.

Hope your Halloween was great too!
