Welcome! Thanks for checking out my blog, The Balanced Mommie. I have been blogging here and there since the fall of 2012 and started to really commit with a website I created a couple of years ago called My Plant Based Kitchen. This blog focused solely on plant-based recipes that I created in my kitchen. In July of 2015, my husband and I found out we were pregnant. At about 7 weeks, I became extremely sick with morning sickness and couldn’t bare to step into my kitchen! Needless to say, my blog fell by the wayside while I overcame my first 3 months of pregnancy. Since I’ve given birth in March of 2016, I’ve had a new passion for blogging – but it includes several other topics including motherhood, career, beauty, style and of course, plant-based recipes. I hope you enjoy reading my posts and trying out my recipes!
